Additional Forms »

Xingyiquan is conservative with it's forms. Most of them are short, some having only two or three movements. Like any martial art, the amount of forms will vary depending on the style and family.

Shi Er Xing "Twelve Animals" »

The Five Element fists are expanded further through the practice of twelve animal styles. Each of the animals contains variations of the five fists which differ from the original.

Lianhuan Quan"Linking Fist" »

Lianhuan Quan ("Linking" or "Connected" Fist) is an advanced Xingyi form. After you have mastered all of the Wu Xing, they are combined together into this single form. Now you begin to grasp the keys to Xingyiquan and learn what makes this style unique.

Wu Xing "Five Elements" »

The heart of Xingyi training lies in the five element fists, or Wu Xing. Externally, they appear to be simple linear movements, but actually contain subtle hidden circular movements within. Pi Quan is usually taught first since it is the same stance as San Ti.

San Ti Shi "Trinity Posture" »

The foundation of Xingyiquan is it's stance keeping practice called San Ti Shi (also known as San Cai) , which means "Three Body Posture" or "Trinity Posture." It is the very core of training and develops many of the qualities essential to the development of martial ability
